Great food, but most of all, incredible service by the bar tender Kieren !! I was visiting Victoria for work and he went out of his way to create rapport and conversation with me, which made me feel right at home! Omg, the food here is amazing. I love the location, right on the water. Both times we went, we timed it just right, as there wasn't a crowd. But, as we were leaving, the line was out the door. So this place is very popular. Service was quick and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend dining here when you visit Victoria.
We recently celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! The server went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs, making the occasion truly special. The food was delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and flavorful. From the warm service to the festive ambiance, everything was spot on. I highly recommend this place for celebrations or just a great meal!
Went on a Saturday evening with a reservation. Atmosphere is intimate, beautiful views of the harbor, empress, and the legislative building. For starters, we got the coconut calamari, perfect👌 I ordered the 1989 burger, seasoned well, burger was slightly overcooked to my liking, would have liked it more medium then well done. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallop scampi. He asked for no tomatoes but it did arrive with tomatoes, it wasn't an allergy so he picked them out. The scampi is very caper forward in flavor. I loved the strawberry haze cocktail, would 10/10 recommend. The white chocolate cheesecake and monster cookie with ice cream was yummy. Bathrooms were clean, and the service was great.
This place is in a beautiful location. They have a patio but unfortunately it was closed when we visited (too early). We had brunch and it was really good. We had grapefruit and pineapple mimosas that were really good. Good was yummy too and service was excellent. Really good option when visiting downtown Victoria.
