We went with friends for lunch! Plenty of parking, specially on weekdays, at Royal Park...As usual, good food, polite staff, nice environment!
Milestones at Park Royal was the destination to catch a late-evening meal with a visiting family friend Wednesday last.Located in the Village at PR near the Ambleside soccer pitch, the restaurant is spacious -- with many indoor seating options/sections, large bar + outdoor patio area -- and has a cool industrial - urban loft feel with lots of brick and metal accents.Milestones has been a personal fave since they first opened. Their seasonal Fall - Winter Roast Prime Rib is absolutely juicy, delicious and perfectly cooked. The Portobello Mushroom Chicken is also amazingly tasty served over pasta and with vegetables. For dessert, the famous Key Lime Pie is awesome and not to be passed over.This particular time, I went for their California Burger with Side-Caesar Salad, Long Island Ice Tea (2x), followed by White Chocolate Cheesecake (Key Lime Pie was sold-out!), and Latte.Milestones is always great for its upbeat urban feel, later closing time (11pm), very friendly people -- e.g., bartenders who know how to mix and happily research requested drinks -- and its broad and delicous menu offerings. Always a great choice!
Well, well, well😍We started with an indulgent array of appetizers, including the flavorful spinach and artichoke dip, the rich roasted mushroom soup, the delightful coconut calamari, and the savory Tuscan bruschetta.The generous portion sizes made it a feast for the two of us, prompting us to opt for the shrimp and scallop scampi for our main course. Despite feeling satiated, the exquisite flavors convinced us to savor the scampi as well, leaving only a small portion of the dip untouched.Despite the current review score of 3.7, I respectfully disagree and would confidently give it a perfect five.Here's why:1. The menu offered a diverse selection that you wouldn't find at your typical Canadian restaurants.2. The taste and freshness exceeded our expectations.3. The warmth and hospitality of the staff contributed to a delightful dining experience.4. The spacious layout and friendly ambiance added to the overall enjoyment.5. Notably, the calamari stood out for its delicate batter, allowing you to really taste the true flavours.6. Every dish we sampled was simply delightful.If you're seeking a unique dining experience for lunch or dinner, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!"
